History of N.K.E.S

 

The National Kannada Education Society (NKES) stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of community and the transformative power of education.

Inspired by the vision of the Bharataratna M. Visvesvaraya, it was established in 1939 with a single class room in a rented premises in Matunga, Mumbai with the mission “Empowerment with Education”.

Over the next eight decades, NKES expanded its activities and built its own sprawling campus spread over nearly an acre in Wadala, Mumbai.

NKES offers a comprehensive range of educational programs — from Pre-Primary to Postgraduate Management Courses — catering to students at every stage of their academic journey.

In 2023, NKES embarked on a new chapter with the launch of Abhinav Public School, a Propesed CBSE School that is already gaining momentum as a promising and progressive center for learning.
